Brookside Park is a family housing complex with 2, 3, and 4 bedroom condo style apartments. First occupied in july of 1981 it has maintained near 100% occupancy over the years. Each unit has a laundry room and cold storage shed. The complex is professionally managed and has been very well maintained to meet the standards set by the Department of Housing and Development. Subsidy is provided by the Maine State Housing Authority to qualified families who pay 30% of adjusted income in rent. The property is owned by Brookside Park Preservation; a partnership of two local business people.
